General Overview

The advancement of technology will continue to alter many aspects of how we do things and how we wire and control buildings are certainly no exception to this. Intelligent Building Technology has now become a standard requirement in many types of buildings and is also becoming increasingly common in residential properties.

An intelligent control system from Building Evolution will provide greater energy efficiency, adaptability, safety and convenience, not to mention enhanced value, for building owners and occupiers.

We use the KNX system because it is a worldwide open standard and because it is a complete building control system. 

However  if, for example, you only want lighting control then that’s fine, but if you also wanted to add heating, HVAC, blind or window control and many other functions then this is easily achieved using the same system.

As a truly open standard this means that our system designer can select components from a wide range of different manufacturers depending upon the exact technical, functional and interior design requirements of the project.

Finally, as an open standard this will provide a truly future proof system that is not locking you into some proprietary system from a single manufacturer which may or may not be around in 10 years time.
